On economic organisation Euromaidan scores +03 on a scale from −10 (common ownership) to +10 (private property and markets). On social and cultural order it scores −05. A single left–right figure combines these and four further measurements that move independently, which is why the atlas reports six.

Is Euromaidan authoritarian?

Core principles

A mass occupation triggered by a government's refusal to sign an association agreement, which became a demand for the removal of the government itself.

Reading note

Around a hundred protesters were killed. Coded as an uprising rather than a party, and its coordinates are the movement's, not those of any government that followed.
