Strongest case for the claim
Labour Zionism built kibbutz collectives holding property in common and a national labour federation that owned industry, banks, construction and health services. It governed continuously from 1948 to 1977, and its economy was among the most collectivised ever created without coercion.
Strongest case against
Revisionist Zionism, founded in 1925, opposed the labour federation's economic monopoly, demanded compulsory arbitration of strikes and free enterprise, and its lineage runs directly to Likud, which dismantled the Histadrut economy after 1977. There was never one Zionist economic position.

On membership they score +06 and +07 — nearly identical. This is the standard pattern for national movements: the shared axis is membership, the contested one is economics, and treating the movement as having a single economic position gets both wings wrong.
